The new antenna showed up today and looks to be a 95% complete replacement.

The part is an actual GM piece. Only difference from the stock one removed is the mount with the two bolt holes.

I 'll let you know how it fits once installed.

I had a bunch of goodies in the order with it. Shipping for everything was about $40, (2' x 2' x 3' box) so the antenna itself would be much cheaper.

They send USPS too, so customs worked out well with their favourable pricing quote.

Got the antenna installed and the antenna repair kit fit perfect.

As you can see from the previous pictures, (old / new antennas) the lower mounting tab (2 bolt holes) was not part of the new assembly. I installed a couple of 2 hole straps around the assembly and in she went. Perfect fit.

The most difficult part of the installation is getting the old antenna assembly apart. Requires drilling out the brass rivets and then prying the halfs apart (siliconed together) - I used a putty knife and it worked well. Everything else is pretty straight forward.

I will post pictures of it installed later.
