JOINING THE SITE

1. Tap Log In at the top right, then Sign Up.

2. Enter your name, email and a password.

3. Check your email for a 6-digit code and type it in.

4. Wait for a club admin to approve you. This usually takes 1 to 2 days. You'll get an email when it's done. You can't log in until then.

LOGGING IN

1. Tap Log In at the top right.

2. Enter your email and password.

3. Forgot your password? Tap "Forgot password" and follow the email.

FREE AND PAID MEMBERS

Everyone starts as a free member. Free members can read the forum and post in the open boards. Paid members ($25 a year) also get the member-only pages and boards.

PAYING DUES

1. Send a $25 Interac e-Transfer to the club treasurer, or pay at a meeting.

2. Once the club marks you paid, the member-only pages open up for you.

WHEN DUES RUN OUT

- Dues cover the calendar year and run out December 31.

- If you pay from October on, it counts for the next year.

- You have until January 31 to renew. After that the member-only pages close until you pay again.

CHANGING YOUR PHOTO OR NAME

1. Tap your picture at the top right.

2. Tap Account Settings.

3. Change your photo or details and tap Update Info.

ADDING YOUR CAR

1. Go to My Ride (from the Galleries page, tap "Add or edit my car").

2. Add your car, photos and build notes.

3. Tap Save. Your car shows in Members' Rides and on your forum posts.

USING THE FORUM

1. Tap Forum in the top menu.

2. Tap a board, like Tech Talk or Parts For Sale.

3. Tap a topic to read it, or tap New Topic to start one.

4. To reply, scroll to the bottom of a topic, type your message and tap Post Reply.

ADDING PHOTOS TO A POST

1. While writing, tap Photos and pick your pictures (up to 8).

2. A small picture of each photo shows under the text box with a green check.

3. You'll also see some [img] code in the box. That's normal. It marks where the photo goes, so leave it there.

4. Tap Post. Your photos show in the post.

GETTING FORUM EMAILS

1. In the forum, tap My Profile.

2. Under Email Alerts, tick the boards you want to hear about.

3. Tap Save. You'll get an email when someone starts a new topic there.

ADDING YOUR BIRTHDAY

1. In the forum, tap My Profile.

2. Under My Birthday, pick your date.

3. Tap Save. Only admins can see it, and you'll get a birthday email from the club.

ORDERING CLUB CLOTHING

The club opens clothing orders once or twice a year. Watch the Announcements board.

1. Go to the Club Order page (link at the bottom of every page).

2. Pick the colour, size and how many, then tap Add to my order.

3. Tap Place my order. You'll get an order number like CFC-1002 and an email.

4. Send an Interac e-Transfer for your total to the email shown. Put your order number in the message.

5. Only paid orders get printed. You can see your order and its status on the same page.

RSVP TO AN EVENT

1. Tap Events in the top menu.

2. Tap the event you want.

3. Tap RSVP and fill in your name.
